Seniors are not immune to mental health problems, and this can be challenging for friends and family to manage. During this talk, you’ll learn how to identify the main symptoms of anxiety or depression in seniors and explore ways to manage them effectively.
LDr. Sébastien Grenier is a clinical psychologist, a researcher at the research centre of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM) and a professor in the Département de psychologie de l’Université de Montréal. His research seeks to improve the effectiveness of psychological (non-drug) therapies designed to relieve anxiety and depression in seniors. He is also the co-founder of the Clinique Bien Vieillir, a private clinic that offers psychological counselling to people aged 50 and over.
