SYLVIE CONSTANTINEAU | President

Sylvie enjoyed a 35-year career in the health and social services system working with at-risk youth, starting as a counsellor and manager at various support services. She then worked for the Centre jeunesse de Montréal-Institut universitaire as coordinator of program development and professional practices before becoming the director of professional services and university affairs. Having managed a number of major projects in best practices development, she is a development and quality expert in the field of professional social services practices.

BENOÎT BOUVIER | Vice-president

Benoît was the director of finance for the International Bureau for Children’s Rights (IBCR) until 2019. He is currently the executive director of Le Temps d’une Pause and serves as Treasurer on the board of directors of the community organization SARPAD. He possesses in-depth knowledge when it comes to the unique needs of seniors and is an expert in community outreach.

FRANCINE CORBIN | Treasurer

Francine holds a master’s degree in public administration and has worked in the health and social services system for 35 years, occupying a variety of management roles in finance, IT and technical support. She assists organizations with process reviews and serves as a management consultant and financial administration specialist. She has also drawn on her experience as a mother, working with families and children as a volunteer in school and community settings. Francine is thrilled to be AQPAMM’s treasurer; she firmly believes in the association’s mandate to foster well-being in loved ones of people living with mental health problems.

CHRISTELLE LERAY | Director

Christelle obtained a master’s degree in sociology of work in 1997 in France and a certificate in human resources management in 2005 from HEC Montréal. She has worked for more than 15 years as an HR management consultant in the education and health sectors and within community organizations. She currently holds a position at the Institut national d’excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS) where she supports, advises and coaches managers and employees in various areas of HR including labour relations, performance management, staffing, change management and skills development.

ANNETTE ROBYNS | Director

Annette taught for 25 years in Belgium’s basic education system, where she used active learning methods to empower every one of her young students. Working in an underprivileged suburban community of a large city, she sought to foster the well-being of mothers in a variety of ways, acquiring a well-tuned sense of social responsibility.

Inspired by a local female politician, she retired from teaching to become a government cabinet advisor. In addition to the health and education sectors, Annette has experience in a number of other areas, including working on the shift towards free movement in Europe and its effects on poverty, transportation, agriculture and more.

She served in citizen services for most of her cabinet assignments. Now retired, she is thrilled to dedicate herself to the success of AQPAMM and its members.

MARTINE JACOB | Secretary

Martine worked in the health and social services system for 35 years, first as a clinical criminologist at the Institut Philippe Pinel de Montréal and then as assistant to the director of professional services. She then took a position as coordinator of specialized clinical support at the Centre jeunesse de Montréal-Institut universitaire, where she managed resources for counsellors of children, youth and families living with suicidal risks and mental health issues. While at CCSMTL, she also coordinated all mental health youth services. A long-time volunteer for the Ligne-parents phone line, she believes strongly in the importance of providing support to relatives and friends of people living with mental health issues. Recently retired, she brings a wealth of expertise in mental health and clinical practice standards.

STÉPHANE DUMONT | Director

Stéphane’s varied educational background includes degrees from Laval University (graphic design), HEC Montréal (e-business) and MIT Sloan (international affairs for digital businesses). He is a pioneer in the Canadian digital sector, with an impressive track record in digital business and as a consultant on large-scale projects. In addition to his passion for technology, he is committed to social innovation and the collaborative economy, with its focus on respect for people and the environment. Stéphane develops entrepreneurial initiatives that generate positive impacts for society. He has also deployed a number of responsible communication programs for organizations such as Équiterre, Oxfam-Québec, Cascades, Fido, CPAWS, the CHUM Foundation, the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, and others. Stéphane volunteers on boards of organizations he truly believes in, including the Institut du Nouveau Monde (INM), Projet TRIP and AQPAMM.

CAROL LADOUCEUR | Director Carol Ladouceur

After a seven-year career in social research at Université de Montréal, Carol shifted to intervention and management, with a focus on vulnerable populations. She worked as a clinical consultant, an assistant director of professional services and university affairs, and assistant to the deputy general director at the Centre jeunesse de Montréal-Institut universitaire. Carol then became director of professional services at the Centre jeunesse de Laval, before spending five years as director of the mental health and addiction program at the CISSS de Laval.

Recently retired, Carol is excited to put her wealth of knowledge and experience—both clinical and managerial—to good use at AQPAMM, assisting the board of directors and the organization as a whole in its dealings with our health system and its institutions.

CHANEL FOURNIER | Director

Chanel has many years of experience in the technology sector and has been a senior product manager at Shopify for the past two years. She graduated from McGill University with a double major in Economics and Sociology as a Loran National Scholar, goingon to specialize in project management for technology companies. Chanel has a passion for developing innovative technological solutions that are backed by an in-depth understanding of what a community or product user needs.

She enjoys sharing her product sector expertise (giving presentations and workshops for various youth organizations), and is helping to build a product community in Montreal (as an organizer in partnership with Product School). She is also a firm believer in giving back to her community, serving as a volunteer and adjudicator for the Loran Foundation awards. Chanelis keen to share her knowledge and assist AQPAMM with business development as it relates to its services.
